About the role

As an AI/ML Engineer at A, you will play a key role in designing, developing, and deploying cutting-edge machine learning models and AI-driven solutions. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to transition AI prototypes into scalable production systems. If you have a passion for AI, problem-solving, and building robust ML applications, this role is perfect for you.


What you’ll do


  • Construct AI workflows and transform them into well-documented APIs or Software Development Kits (SDKs).
  • Maintain code abstraction and architecture to ensure scalability and efficiency.
  • Develop and deploy Large Language Model (LLM) pipelines and processes.
  • Transition Generative AI Proof of Concept (PoC) solutions into production-grade deployments.
  • Architect machine learning systems and conduct ML tests and experiments.
  • Investigate and implement suitable ML algorithms and tools.
  • Build machine learning applications based on specifications.
  • Select appropriate datasets and data representation methods.
  • Perform statistical analysis and fine-tune models based on test outcomes.
  • Train and retrain AI/ML models as required.


What we look for


  • Experience: 2-4 years of hands-on AI/ML experience.
  • Programming: Proficiency in Python (bonus points for experience with Django or equivalent frameworks).
  • AI/ML Expertise: Strong understanding of Neural Networks, Computer Vision, Speech Processing, and Natural Language Processing. Familiarity with techniques like RAG, Fine-tuning, and more.
  • Generative AI Knowledge: Experience with Prompt Engineering, LLM Development using Langchain, Semantic Kernel, Open Source/API-based LLMs.
  • Problem-Solving: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Software Development: Knowledge of data structures, algorithms, and software configuration management.
  • System Architecture: Passion for building robust, failure-resistant systems while maintaining high coding standards.
  • Industry Awareness: Awareness of the latest technologies, trends, and best practices in AI/ML.


Must-Have Skills


  • Hands-on experience with AI/ML tools such as PySpark, PyTorch, TensorFlow, Keras, and other ML frameworks.
  • Familiarity with AI/ML subfields like Neural Networks, Computer Vision, Speech Processing, NLP, and techniques such as Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) and Fine-tuning.
  • Experience with cloud-based AI/ML platforms like AWS AI/ML, Google ML, Azure ML, H2O, DataBricks, or DataRobot.
  • Strong proficiency in at least one cloud platform (AWS, GCP, Azure, DigitalOcean) along with Docker, Kubernetes, and microservices (good to have).
  • Ability to develop backend applications and transform AI models into APIs or SDKs.


Bonus Skills

  • Any credible cloud certification.
  • Open-source contributions or published repositories relevant to AI/ML.
